Michael Hunter
Senior Vice President
Mr. Hunter has twenty years of diverse business experience. He has been a senior executive and a principal of numerous private companies. Prior to joining Carriage Hill he served as Vice President of Lewis Operating Corporation, where he orchestrated the development and construction processes for numerous mixed-use projects, which included schools, parks, commercial facilities, retail and residential communities. Earlier in his career he served as director of Development & Marketing for Legendary, Inc., a resort developer in Destin, FL, a joint venture partner with Olson Associates, and founder of the Development Corporation of Destin, a mixed-use real estate development consultation firm. Mr. Hunter has negotiated multi-million dollar acquisitions and dispositions, managed multi-million dollar budgets, administered government agency approval and entitlement processes and has coordinated in-house and third party resources, including legal council and asset management.
Mr. Hunter graduated Summa Cum Laude in business from Springfield College, the birthplace of basketball. Formerly a college and high school basketball referee, he currently volunteer coaches youth athletics. Currently serving as the Vice President, Public Relations of Toastmasters International, he is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate.
