David Goldwag, DO, FACEP

David Goldwag, DO, FACEP has over 15 years experience in medical leadership and currently is the Medical Director for the Emergency Department at Westchester Medical Center, a regional tertiary care center. In the past, he has served as the director for Emergency Departments in California and Connecticut as well as serving various roles in hospital medical leadership. He has extensive experience in both operational process improvement and patient safety and in his career has served as a Chief of Staff elect as well as chairing multiple hospital and medical staff committees. He has broad experience at local and county levels with both EMS and trauma systems and served as the Vice President for the South Bay Emergency Medicine Directors Association. He is currently active in trauma education and has special interests in regional trauma care, tele-medicine, ED operations, patient safety and disaster preparedness.
Dr. Goldwag graduated from the University of California and attended medical school at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. In addition to his professional medical experience, Dr. Goldwag also has significant interest and experience in medical informatics. He has served as a consultant to vendors of health IT as well as other technology related industries.
